Stressed by the world’s expectations...

Stress is a big part of being a parent, especially a special needs parent.

We all have our daily responsibilities, to do lists, schedules, but as soon as you add in everything to help your child; you begin to feel overwhelmed. Or at least I know I do.

The expectations the world has set for parents is impossible. No wonder parents are more stressed.

We’re not perfect or anywhere close to that. We’re just human beings trying to raise our children with love.

Why is it that we need to try to reach perfection by the worlds standards when it comes to raising our children?

It’s stress. Peer pressure didn’t stop in High school; it happens throughout the rest of our lives.

Stress to appear better, smarter, stronger, healthier, happier, “not overwhelmed”, put together in this perfect (not stressed) looking mask that we want everyone to see and admire.

Seriously, let’s just stop this. You know as well as I do that we’re not ever going to be that. No one is!

We’re missing out on life and everything that’s in store for us worrying about what others think of us.

Stress is a serious problem. I know that it’s not easily “stopped”.

We can never not have stressful days, but to help ease them, here’s what I need all of us to do...

Stop

Worrying

About

What

The

World

And

Those

In

Your

Life

Think

About

You! 🤔

You are beautiful, strong, courageous, and exactly who your supposed to be.

Keep raising your children with LOVE and know that everything your doing for them everyday, is the best way to show how amazing you truly are!!

Don’t stress friend. Your doing great! 🥰💙https://www.facebook.com/1040463509480979/posts/1228300494030612/
