Covid-19 has disrupted our lives and it’s something none of us could have ever expected to experience.
Schedule changes, unable to see my husband (our boys Daddy) due to him being Essential and the demand so great. Steven hasn’t been home in about a month. His job hauling additives and chemicals to deliver to manufactures to make hand sanitizer, toilet paper, soap, and so much more is beyond important right now.
Our boys have come to the understanding that Daddy comes home 4-6 days a month. But this month it won’t happen. While Stevie and Maycen are older and seem to understand, they still miss him immensely. As for Sawyer, he doesn’t understand. Our entire schedule is off. Daddy isn’t here and we’re unable to go to his favorite places.
Sawyer’s days are now filled with being stuck inside our home with the occasional go outside to play between all the rain storms. He will ask “where’s daddy?”, “go bye bye to daddy”, “daddy truck, we go?”. And every time I respond the same, “Not today sweetie.”
I’m sure in his mind he’s wondering when and why not now. But he can’t always express verbally everything he’s thinking. Not yet. But he’s improving.
We’re hoping Steven will be able to come home for a night or two in the next coming weeks. But we don’t know yet. The demand is too great and our country needs these very important items made.
So while we wait for the Covid-19 virus to eventually pass, we wait for Steven (husband and daddy) to come home.

All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. We hope you are all staying safe. 🥰
