Just another day in the life of this SAH-ASD Mom...
The last few days have been... well messy, full of meltdowns and emotional 😠breakdowns for our babies.
Following the minor flooding in the master bathroom/bedroom due to the older two leaving a faucet running and putting the stopper down for over an hour; we were thrown into a good bit of chaos.
Stevie and Maycen were and are beyond upset and sorry for what happened. We can’t be mad at them. It was a honest mistake. But it’s a good lesson learned for all of us. We now know we need to double check behind the older two to make sure everything is turned off and not just say it.
Sawyer had just as hard of a day due to all the chaos around him. The biggest problem was I was unable to comfort him by holding him due to having to help my parents and the workers get everything moved out and cleaned out. So he screamed and cried for well over an hour. Now I would come in every little bit and love on him and explain to him what was going on. But that wasn’t what he wanted.
He wanted everything to be back to routine. Normalcy was a must. Without it; meltdowns continue. We’re doing everything we can to help him through this chaotic time. You name it, we’re doing it.
Due to the process of clean up after what happened; it looks like the chaos will continue for another week at least. We’re hoping time will pass by quickly.
Until we’re back to routine (I.e. my bedroom being in the living room), the boys are enjoying our big bed being out for them to lay on. 🥰
Speaking of chaos.... I need to go clean up spilled cereal and milk 😂.
Happy Wednesday friends! 😘
