That first initial reaction you have after the diagnosis can be so overwhelming. The grieving of the life we had envisioned for our boys is forever changed.
At first; it seems like it’s just this Dark Looming cloud that makes you have these sudden bouts of emotions that overwhelm you thoughts.
People outside of this world we now call home; they have no idea what we “Feel” and how much our lives change forever.
After a while you start to come out of the heavy cloud coverage. You start to see the new world and journey you are now on; is the biggest thing you could ever be apart of.
This journey we are on is Life changing. But it’s all for the better.
Yes, our boys have challenges and areas that are harder for them versus neuro-typical children. But that’s okay.
For the longest time I’ve only seen the world through my own eyes. But now, I get to see it through my children’s and my is it BEAUTIFUL!
